PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessment – TrustMark Approved and Fully Accredited
WHERE THE JOURNEY BEGINS
A Retrofit Assessment is the first stage of the PAS 2035process. It involves a detailed on-site inspection of the property and brings together three key surveys: the property condition assessment, the occupancy assessment and the energy assessment. Together, these provide a complete picture of how the home performs.
SPOTTING RISKS BEFORE THEY BECOME PROBLEMS
This structured assessment identifies any risks, defects or constraints that could affect improvement works. It provides the Retrofit Designer with the information needed to create a safe and effective design, and gives the Retrofit Coordinator the evidence required to develop a suitable and compliant improvement plan. It also highlights any moisture, ventilation or structural issues that must be addressed to prevent problems such as damp, mould or overheating after works are completed.
